AxeOs Tuning Guide —— From Beginner to Expert

Understanding the Dashboard Metrics

When you open the AxeOS dashboard, pay attention to these key data points:

Hashrate

  • Real-time hashrate fluctuates by ±10-15%; this is normal.
  • Focus on Session Average. This is the true reflection of performance.

Best Difficulty

  • This is the highest difficulty share found by your device in the current session.
  • For Solo miners, this is a Badge of Honor. The higher the number, the closer you theoretically got to a block.

Temperature

RangeStatusSuggestion
40-55°COptimalMaintain current settings
55-65°CAcceptableFine for 24/7 operation
65-75°CCautionConsider lowering frequency or improving cooling
75°C+DangerImmediately lower frequency. Risk of chip damage

Rejected Shares

  • Healthy state: < 1-2%.
  • High rejection usually means: Overclocking too high, unstable network, or pool connection issues.

Performance Tuning in Practice

AxeOS allows manual adjustment of Frequency and Core Voltage:

  1. Change one variable at a time and observe for 30 minutes.
  2. Temperature is the hard limit. Sustained temps over 65°C accelerate chip aging.
  3. A sudden spike in Rejected Shares means you’ve pushed the tuning too far.
